Participation Waiver

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in football, street football, matches, challenges, tournaments, training sessions, and all related activities organised through STREETS Australia involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Physical injury (minor or severe)
• Collisions with players or surfaces
• Slips, falls, or environmental hazards
• Muscle strain, fatigue, or overexertion
• Weather-related risks
• Damage to personal property

I voluntarily participate with full knowledge of these risks and accept full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur.

2. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and discharge STREETS Australia, its owners, directors, staff, volunteers, partners, affiliates, and venue partners from any liability arising from:

• Injury, death, or illness during participation
• Loss or damage to personal property
• Negligence of other players or third parties
• Conditions of public or private playing areas
• My own actions, conduct, or equipment choices

This applies to all STREETS Australia activities—supervised or unsupervised, scheduled or self-arranged through the platform.

3. Personal Responsibility

I confirm that:

• I am physically able to participate safely.
• I will act responsibly and respect others.
• I will not participate while injured, unwell, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• I will inspect the playing area before participating and raise concerns immediately.
• I am responsible for my own safety, equipment, and conduct at all times.

4. Media & Content Permission

STREETS Australia regularly records, photographs, and distributes media for social, promotional, and commercial purposes.

I grant STREETS Australia permission to:

• Record, film, or photograph me
• Use my image, voice, and likeness in any media format
• Publish, distribute, modify, or repost content
• Use such content without payment, royalties, approval, or notification

This permission is perpetual, global, and irrevocable.

5. Respect for Venues, Spaces & Councils

I understand that matches may take place in public parks, open spaces, community facilities, shared recreational areas, and privately owned venues.

I agree to:

• Respect all venues, surfaces, and facilities used during games
• Comply with all local council rules, signage, and instructions
• Follow all rules and conditions set by private venue operators
• Behave respectfully toward other park users, residents, or venue staff
• Leave all areas clean, undamaged, and free of rubbish
• Avoid misuse, vandalism, or interference with property or equipment

I acknowledge that STREETS Australia does not own, operate, or control these locations and is not responsible for their safety, availability, or condition.

6. Venue Independence & Responsibility

I acknowledge that:

• Any venue bookings, access conditions, pricing, or restrictions are set by the venue owner or council—not STREETS Australia.
• STREETS Australia has no liability for denied access, closures, enforcement actions, or safety issues at any location.
• I am responsible for my own conduct at all venues, and any fines, penalties, or damages arising from my actions.

7. Indemnity

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless STREETS Australia against all claims, damages, costs, or losses resulting from:

• My participation
• My actions or conduct
• Damage I cause to public or private property
• Any disputes I create with venues, councils, staff, or third parties
• Breach of this agreement

8. Acknowledgment

By continuing, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood this combined waiver in full.
• I accept all risks associated with STREETS Australia activities.
• I agree to follow all venue, council, and facility rules.
• I consent to media usage.
• I voluntarily agree to all terms without pressure or obligation.
• This waiver applies to all future participation until revoked in writing.

9. Over 18

I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older.

I understand that STREETS Australia does not permit anyone under 18 to create an account or participate in activities.

I acknowledge that the date of birth verification system in the signup process is designed to prevent underage users, and providing false information is a breach of terms.

By signing this form and creating an account, I legally declare that the information I provide, including my age and date of birth, is true and accurate.
